Eleven of Lakin Spears’ Lawyers are Named Super Lawyers in 2024

There are few law firms that can say that 30% of their lawyers have been voted the best of the best. But Lakin Spears, LLP is one of them. Lakin Spears is proud to announce that three of the firm’s attorneys – Nancy Encarnacion Mass, Geniveve J. Ruskus, Jennifer F. Wald – have been named the Top 50 Women and Top 100 lawyers across all of Northern California, as reported in the 2024 edition of Super Lawyers of Northern California. In addition, 11 of the firm’s attorneys – almost all of the lawyers – were named 2024 Northern California Super Lawyers or Rising Stars. Many of the firm’s attorneys have been selected as Super Lawyers for over 15 years, some celebrating their 21st year. Lakin Spears congratulates all of the 2024 Super Lawyers and Rising Stars.

How are “Super Lawyers” determined? The top 5% of all attorneys in Northern California are named each year as Super Lawyers. They are selected using a patented multiphase selection process through peer nominations and evaluations along with third-party research, with a similar process for the selection of Rising Stars. No more than 2.5% of all Northern California lawyers are named to the list of Rising Stars, who must be under age 40 and have been in practice for 10 or fewer years.
