Victoria Kaempf is a partner with the firm and a member of the Trusts & Estates Group. She has practiced in this area for 25 years. Victoria’s practice covers all areas of estate planning and estate and trust administration, including, estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer tax planning; family succession planning; living trust formation and administration; irrevocable trust planning; charitable planning; life insurance planning; intra-family transactions; wills; powers of attorney; beneficiary designations; and court proceedings for issues relating to trusts and estates. Victoria represents multi-generational families, established individuals and younger entrepreneurs and professionals.
Prior to joining Lakin Spears, Victoria maintained her estate planning practice as a partner at Howard Rice Nemerovski Canady Falk and Rabkin, PC (now Arnold Porter LLP), and, before that, as a partner at Botto Law Group, LP. Prior to becoming a partner, Victoria was an associate in the estate planning groups of Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, LLP (now DLA Piper, LLP), and Pillsbury Madison & Sutro, LLP (now Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman, LLP).

Victoria grew up in the Bay Area and lives in San Carlos with her husband and children. She is a volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), supporting abused and neglected youth in San Mateo County while they transition into permanent homes. She enjoys DIY projects, gardening, cribbage and relaxing with her family, animals and friends.
